Supervisory Responsibilities:


• Manage personnel performance evaluations


• Evaluate current and future departmental requirements and provide recommendations


• Conduct interviews and suggest new hires


• Maintain records of workload activities in accordance with established protocols


• Address customer complaints and provide resolutions


• Monitor departmental metrics and update as necessary


• Propose budgetary needs and ensure compliance

Operational Responsibilities:


• Participate in projects and meetings focused on logistical solutions, Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery, Kanban systems, and warehouse layout optimization


• Ensure inventory accuracy by developing and maintaining inventory control records, regularly reporting to management. Analyze stockout causes and implement corrective measures promptly.


• Oversee inventory management through cycle counts, inventory turnover, obsolete stock, and new inventory placements


• Adjust inventory levels as necessary.


• Identify and request packaging solutions for new products to enhance existing materials


• Schedule maintenance for logistics equipment and provide necessary calibration tools

Qualifications:


• Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


• Strong problem-solving capabilities


• Ability to make informed recommendations regarding budget, capital equipment, and inventory management


• Manage quality, cost, safety, and timelines to achieve organizational objectives


• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate is mandatory


• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred


• 2 to 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment is essential


• Experience with inventory systems is required


• Supervisory experience is necessary


• Capable of effectively organizing and prioritizing work tasks


• Strong communication skills


• Attention to detail is crucial


• Ability to understand customer perspectives


• Actively seeks and responds to customer feedback


• Proposes improvements for processes and procedures
