We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of Mill equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and overseeing general maintenance of the facility.


Key Responsibilities:


- Utilize Vibration Analysis for repair and preventative maintenance.
- Design and fabricate parts as needed for equipment modifications.
- Conduct steam trap analysis and perform repairs on steam-related machinery.
- Work the designated shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Maintain and update all schematics related to the Mill post-completion of work.
- Uphold and enforce safety and food safety standards within the plant.
- Investigate mechanical and operational issues reported in the Mill.
- Communicate any identified failures to management and undertake additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

- Proficient knowledge of maintenance practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Strong skills in computer usage, mathematics, electrical systems, welding, plumbing, and pipe fitting.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electric motors.
- Capable of executing work orders, unscheduled maintenance, and task forms with proper documentation, including boiler water treatment and RO monitoring.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and overtime as required.
- Effective reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer and problem-solving skills are essential.
