Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing respiratory therapy, under medical direction, in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with deficiencies of the cardiopulmonary system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and set up respiratory care equipment on a daily basis and after being used for patient care.
- Monitor supplies and forms in the cardiopulmonary department as needed.
- Ensure all respiratory care areas throughout the facility are properly stocked with supplies and equipment at all times.
- Participate in educational activities to further knowledge of respiratory care needs.
- Assist in coverage for EKG as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- 1–3 years of experience preferred.
