Key Responsibilities:
- Package products from the production line into appropriate materials at various stations.
- Conduct visual inspections at multiple points along the production line to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
- Handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Operate packaging machinery, including starting and shutting down equipment.
- Prepare packaging and materials for subsequent shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the production floor.
- Assist in other departments as needed.
- Perform housekeeping tasks, including waste disposal.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and team members.
- Comply with HACCP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements through in-house training.
- Understand and adhere to allergen management and GMP standards through in-house training.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- No specific educational background or experience is required.
Language Proficiency:
- Ability to read and write in English for documentation and comprehend English for training purposes.
- Capable of reading production boards, paperwork, and labels for accurate product identification and packaging.
Mathematical Skills:
- Basic addition and subtraction skills for inventory management.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the shift involves standing and walking. Frequent activities include stooping, twisting, reaching, stretching, kneeling, bending, and walking. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally is required.
Work Environment:
- The noise level is typically moderate but can vary. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve close quarters. Temperature conditions can fluctuate significantly.
