Job Overview

Bilfinger Inc., a leading provider of complex industrial services, is seeking a skilled Scheduler for our Kansas City, KS site.

This role requires a self-motivated individual to assist with detailed planning and scheduling of maintenance/construction work, ensuring execution aligns with safety, cost, schedule, and quality targets, as well as corporate and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients to develop Milestone Schedules
  • Create Project Schedules with varying levels of detail as requested
  • Combine multiple contractor schedules into a single project schedule as needed
  • Schedules to include long lead items, prework, and outage details
  • Facilitate Pull Planning sessions when required by the Project Execution Plan
  • Integrate multiple engineering information packages and develop detailed executional plans and other deliverables for field labor, supervision, and subcontracts
  • Ensure engineering information files and drawing files are properly maintained
  • Resolve workflow discrepancies, interferences, etc. within the schedule
Requirements
  • A 2-year associate degree with a focus on construction or industrial management, or 4 years of equivalent construction management work experience
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Accurate ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
  • Understanding of Lean Principles is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate proficiency in MS Project scheduling software
