**Key Responsibilities:**



* Assist licensed anesthesia providers in the acquisition, preparation, and application of equipment and supplies required for anesthesia care.



* Maintain patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems before, during, and after anesthesia.



* Operate a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment used to monitor, evaluate, and manage patients undergoing anesthesia.



* Perform equipment maintenance and servicing, including cleaning, sterilizing, assembling, calibrating, and testing.



* Stock anesthesia supplies in all anesthetizing locations.



* Perform point-of-contact clinical laboratory services as necessary.



**Requirements:**



* Graduation from an accredited Anesthesia Technology program or two years of related work experience.



* Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician through the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT) is preferred.



* Current healthcare provider American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
