Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheetfed First Press Operator to join our team at our Franklin, WI location. This is a fixed 12-hour night shift position, with a shift premium of $3.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for operation by accessing job ticket information and setting up the offset press machine for correct substrate, ink, and plate specifications.
  • Operate the Sheetfed Press, ensuring printed products meet customer specifications and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Perform quality checks, completing quality checklist(s) and visual quality checks throughout the printing process.
  • Perform maintenance, observing and monitoring machine operations to determine adjustments needed during the job.
  • Direct crew to specific duties during scheduled maintenance and keep ongoing lists of maintenance issues.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Lead Sheetfed Operator experience in the packaging/printing field.
  • Experience with Heidelberg XL 105 or similar equipment is desired.
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude, with the ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts, with overtime and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Machine repair and maintenance experience.
