Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking Anesthesiologists to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center located in the South Bronx. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a strong focus on mission-driven care.

Responsibilities
  • Determine, prescribe, and administer anesthetics and procedures for various categories of cases.
  • Advises on dosages and consults on post-operative complications.
  • Supervise CRNAs, Anesthesia residents, and rotators.
  • Reviews case histories and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Anesthesiology.
  • Lecture and train Anesthetists, Residents, and auxiliary staff.
  • Attends clinical conferences.
Work Environment

Lincoln Medical Center is a 697-bed hospital with 8 Main ORs, 2 cysto, 2 L&D ORs, 2 Endoscopy suites, and 1 Interventional Radiology suite. The hospital averages 160 cases per week and has a strong OB team with 1580 deliveries last year. The Anesthesiology Department is dynamic and supportive, with a strong focus on education and cross-training.

Qualifications
  • A license to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
  • Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities preferred but not required.
  • Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Additional Fellowship training is welcome.
