About the Role

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Charlestown, Massachusetts.

This is a per diem opportunity that requires a high level of expertise in speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individually-tailored treatment plans.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Prepare accurate billing and manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively.
  • Orient, train, and mentor Speech Language Pathology and health care students.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an ASHA-accredited university program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association or meet educational requirements for certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of speech language evaluation and treatment techniques.
