This is a per diem opportunity that requires a high level of expertise in speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive-communicative, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement individually-tailored treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Prepare accurate billing and manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively.
- Orient, train, and mentor Speech Language Pathology and health care students.
- Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities.
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an ASHA-accredited university program.
- Licensed (and in good standing) in Speech Language Pathology by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association or meet educational requirements for certification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of speech language evaluation and treatment techniques.
