Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems.
- Provide education and training to staff on RAI and other relevant topics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Texas RN nursing license or valid RN license from a Compact Party State.
- Familiarity with Reimbursement system of Medicare, Medicaid & Case Management.
- Preferred Skilled Nursing Facility Experience as an MDS Nurse.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, both clinical and financial as it relates to the RAI process and reimbursement systems.
