As a Commercial Lending Specialist with EXOS Small Business Lending, you will play a key role in driving business growth and development through the identification and solicitation of new SBA loan opportunities. You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust business development strategy, building and maintaining a network of referral sources, and obtaining and preparing required application/financial information from borrowers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to meet business and individual funding goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including realtors, CPAs, attorneys, mortgage brokers, business brokers, bankers, franchises, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and complete loan applications, adhering to industry regulations and guidelines
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory requirements related to SBA 7(a) lending

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field, minimum 3-5 years SBA 7(a) business development experience, demonstrated track record of SBA 7(a) loan production, ability to protect confidential information, strong local market presence and centers of influence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and proficiency with computers and related software.
