Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in a School District Setting

We are seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services to elementary school students in a school district environment. This is a great opportunity to work with students and collaborate with school staff, parents, and teachers to support student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders in elementary school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans based on student needs, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and teachers to support student progress and provide regular progress updates.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist with goal-setting, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Stay current with new techniques and resources in the field, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility for licensure, with certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Previous experience in a school environment, with a strong understanding of school-based services and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Passion for creating a positive and supportive learning environment, with a commitment to student-centered care.
