About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, spine, DaVinci robotics, general, ENT, gynecology, urology, plastics, and vascular. Our team is committed to achieving patient care and outcome standards, and we are seeking an experienced nurse educator to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for staff to achieve patient care and outcome standards
  • Collaborate with perioperative services team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on perioperative procedures and protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Education, or other relevant field
  • Experience: 2 years of progressive experience in nursing in designated specialty; 3 months of experience serving as preceptor
  • Licenses/Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification issued by the American Heart Association is required; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License
  • Other: Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others; proficient computer skills
