Job Title: Bariatric Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bariatric Dietitian to join our team at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will serve as a Patient Navigator for the Weight Management Center, helping to guide and educate patients on options for weight management. This role requires excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups, as well as effective written and verbal communication for all hospital and departmental programs and activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial assessments of patients via telehealth referred to the Bariatric Medicine program
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Assist with program development, promotion, and marketing
  • Support departmental program evaluation and outcome measurement activities
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credentials
  • Licensure in the state of PA
  • Ability to function independently
  • Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continued education in the nutrition field
