Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Allergy & Rheumatology team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate patient care and promoting the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Service: Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care, including administering medication, performing treatment procedures, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Medication Administration & Reporting: Administer medication and maintain accurate records, adhering to departmental protocols and ensuring seamless communication with staff.
  • Documentation: Utilize computerized medical records to ensure concise, pertinent, and complete documentation, reflecting the highest standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Preparation: Ensure clinical areas are properly supplied and exam rooms are available and stocked, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
  • Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
