Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our team at Michael Foods Inc. in Gaylord, Minnesota.

About the Role

This is a night shift position that involves unloading trucks, inspecting inbound products, and ensuring proper inventory management. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently while maintaining food safety and quality procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They must also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload trucks and put incoming material away
  • Supply Aseptic department with their packaging materials
  • Help with cycle counts and month-ending counts of ingredients and packaging
  • Assist with shipping logistics and deliver incoming packages
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months of related experience in a warehouse setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • The successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training program and pass the forklift certification
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM). The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $44,896, based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year.
