Job Title: HVAC Mechanic Journeyman

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team in North America. As a key member of our fast-growing HVAC business, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting, with a focus on HVAC systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, and compressors.
  • Perform maintenance and repair services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with customers to identify problems and provide solutions.
  • Work with other local market mechanics, servicemen, and apprentices to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in training programs to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in commercial and/or industrial mechanical troubleshooting, with a focus on HVAC systems.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to support branch customers' activities.
