The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a fellowship-trained physician to join the faculty as an academic clinician educator. This full-time position involves primarily providing clinical care, teaching, and research in adolescent medicine.
Our team provides outpatient care at 4 clinic locations in metro Kansas City, including Synergy Services for unhoused youth. Providers work alongside colleagues in multidisciplinary specialty clinics providing comprehensive care to adolescents and young adults up to age 22 years old. These clinics include Eating Disorders Center, Gender Pathways Services, Medical Adolescent PCOS Program, and Complex Syncope Clinic.
Inpatient consultations are provided at 2 Kansas City area hospitals. Our faculty includes researchers with multiple projects and programs across various areas within the Children's Mercy Research Institute.
We offer resources such as our Office of Research Business Management and Medical Writing Center to support publication and dissemination. The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
