Job SummaryThis is a full-time opportunity for a Telemetry RN to work night shifts in a 12-hour rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to Telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia
- Experience working in a Telemetry unit, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
