About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Adventist Health in Waimanalo, Hawaii. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology procedures.

Job Summary:

This position involves scheduling and preparing patients for all routine and specialty imaging procedures and exams. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and ensure that every interaction is positive and professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and prepare patients for imaging procedures and exams, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to relay instructions and protocols for scheduled exams or procedures.
  • Obtain, input, and verify necessary demographics, diagnostics, authorizations, physician orders, special instructions, and insurance information.
  • Maintain high productivity standards, minimizing caller wait and hold times, and rescheduling appointments as needed.
  • Greet and register patients, usher them to dressing and exam rooms, and transport patients as required.
  • Act as liaison between physician offices, radiology staff, support staff, and business offices to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
