Job Summary:
Mountain Ridge Health & Rehab is in search of a dedicated full-time Nutritional Culinary Specialist to enhance our culinary team.
This role involves the preparation and cooking of meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring adherence to established menu guidelines.
The schedule will consist of split shifts, covering both morning and evening hours.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will possess prior experience in a healthcare or senior living environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional meal experiences for our residents.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a pay range of $13.25 to $19.93 per hour, compensated on a semimonthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals that meet dietary restrictions and follow menu guidelines.
- Ensure meals are nutritious, visually appealing, and served promptly.
- Monitor food temperatures and uphold food safety standards.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet resident needs effectively.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting is preferred.
- Understanding of food preparation and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and menu specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive demeanor and a passion for serving others.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
