Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support educators in guiding and managing student activities, ensuring a well-structured and efficient classroom atmosphere.
This position entails assisting teachers in the preparation of educational resources, overseeing and aiding students within the classroom and throughout the school, reinforcing lessons taught, administering assessments, and supporting students in both academic and life skills tasks. Additional duties include addressing students' physical needs and performing related tasks as assigned. The incumbent may also coordinate special projects and programs as needed.
This role operates under direct supervision, adhering to established protocols.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this paraprofessional role, candidates must possess an Associate's Degree, a minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit, or achieve a passing score of 450 or higher on the ETS paraprofessional exam.
