Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Termite Technician to join our team at Pest USA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch termite prevention and elimination services to residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities
  • Access daily schedules and ensure adequate equipment is stocked on company trucks, replenishing as needed.
  • Locate and evaluate termite bait stations, using diagrams or manual location devices.
  • Scan bait stations once located and evaluated.
  • Assist with moisture control jobs, including vapor barriers and encapsulations.
  • Log products used in the bait evaluation process.
  • Self-direct to appropriate routes and workflow.
  • Comply with company and label safety procedures.
  • Adhere to timely schedules and keep appointments with customers.
  • Sell additional services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Keep company equipment in good working order.
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean and compliant for Friday inspections.
  • Assist with pest control routes as needed.
Requirements
  • 18+ years of age (21 years preferred).
  • Possess a current driver's license with a good MVR.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with office staff, co-workers, and customers.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass state regulatory agency required licensing exams within 30 days and maintain as needed.
  • Previous experience in termite or pest control is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and crawling, as well as long durations of sitting if commute between customers is lengthy.
