As a dog walker, you will be tasked with the responsibility of walking dogs during weekdays, specifically from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A solid understanding of various dog breeds and their behaviors is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
+ Walking and Exercising: Your primary duty will be to ensure that dogs receive the necessary exercise while their owners are occupied. Each walking session typically lasts between 20 to 30 minutes, providing a great opportunity for both fitness and enjoyment.
+ Weather Preparedness: Our dog walkers are expected to care for pets in all weather conditions, whether it be sunny, rainy, or snowy.
+ Daily Dog Walking: This role focuses predominantly on daily dog walking, which constitutes approximately 70% of our service visits. While there may be opportunities for morning and evening walks, this position is primarily for midday clients.
Qualifications and Skills
+ Customer Service Skills: Previous dog walking experience is advantageous, but a strong understanding of canine behavior and effective communication with clients and the office is crucial.
+ Technological Proficiency: Candidates must possess a modern smartphone equipped with sufficient data and storage. Communication regarding pet care will be conducted through our mobile application.
