We are currently in search of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens role in proximity to Cameron, AZ. Role Details:

  • Shift Information:
    • Standard hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
    • Scheduled coverage without on-call obligations
    • Overtime opportunities available post-scheduled shifts
Operational Details:
  • Procedures:
    • Work within a hospital framework featuring 11 operating rooms in the main surgical area and 2 in the outpatient center
    • Daily case load encompasses a variety of specialties including orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, spine, neurology, catheterization lab, outpatient, and endoscopic procedures
    • Average case volume ranges from 50 to 60 cases daily
    • Hospital capacity: 317 beds
    • CRNAs will participate in a diverse array of procedures, necessitating recent hospital experience
  • Department Overview:
    • The department encompasses multiple specialties such as orthopedics, trauma, and general surgery
    • The CRNA will collaborate within a comprehensive anesthesia care team
    • Utilization of Cerner and SaAnesthesia for electronic medical records and documentation
  • Interview Process:
    • Candidates will undergo a phone interview with the supervising anesthesiologist
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification: CRNA (NBCRNA certification required)
  • Licensure: Active Arizona nursing license required
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • DEA: Active DEA registration required
  • Experience:
    • Recent hospital experience is essential
    • Familiarity with Cerner is preferred
