Position Overview

Sunny Vista is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through our various care services. We are currently seeking empathetic individuals to join our team as Care Partners on an as-needed basis.

Role Summary

The Care Partner is responsible for addressing the daily personal care requirements of our residents, ensuring that their needs are met in alignment with our core values. This role involves anticipating, identifying, and communicating care necessities, as well as supervising medication administration under the guidance of a licensed nurse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to the personal care needs of residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Provide personal care services including help with bathing, dressing, meal attendance, and laundry, tailored to individual resident preferences.
  • Proactively identify and report any resident care needs to the supervisor.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with family members as appropriate.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
  • Document any changes in resident status and report concerns to the supervisor.
  • Assist residents with their prescribed medication routines in accordance with state regulations.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss resident and departmental needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Medication certification (QMAP) as required by state regulations.
  • At least one year of experience in elder care is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is between $21.63 and $24.56 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, and flexible working hours.
