Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team in Kyle, Texas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers and their babies.
  • Document patient information and care provided in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse License.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
