Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Glades Talent. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Utilize standardized testing tools to evaluate speech and language abilities.
  • Manage cases effectively by maintaining accurate records and progress reports.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare or clinical setting is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in conducting standardized testing for speech and language disorders.
  • Ability to effectively manage cases and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $45.00.
  • Full-time or contract opportunities.
  • 35-55 hours per week.

Work Environment:

Monday to Friday schedule.

Relocation to Charlotte, NC required before starting work.
