Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at AMN Healthcare Allied. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • RCIS or ARRT (RT) certification with VI or CI certification
  • Electrophysiology and structural heart experience preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Flu vaccination required
