The Robotics Automation Specialist role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing and executing automation strategies to improve productivity.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in automated systems.
- Overseeing software control for robotic systems.
- Preparing proposals for new equipment, including design and training documentation.
- Conducting safety training sessions related to robotic operations.
- Managing the procurement of machine parts and tools for robotic applications.
- Facilitating training programs for technicians on robotic systems.
- Coordinating service visits and maintenance for robotic arms.
- Creating troubleshooting guides for technical staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Industrial/Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science/Software Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required; verification will be conducted at the time of hiring.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics control and programming.
- Familiarity with Motoman robotics or similar robotic programming platforms.
- Experience in engineering or manufacturing settings.
- Knowledge of 6-axis robotic systems.
- Proficient in robot programming, I/O management, and troubleshooting logic systems.
- Experience with mechanical systems troubleshooting, including pneumatics and tooling.
- Proficiency in industrial ladder logic programming.
- Experience with Wonderware HMI software and industrial controllers.
- Understanding of control systems and servo mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
