Logistics Coordinator for Food Distribution

Job Overview

As a CDL A Delivery Driver with Performance Foodservice, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of food and food-related products to our customers across various routes.

Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated annual compensation of $114,000+, as well as a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes.

Responsibilities

This position requires interaction with customers, maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, and performing safety inspections on vehicles. Key responsibilities include:

• Communicating and interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.">
• Performing all required safety checks, including inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.">
• Reporting all safety issues and/or repairs required.">
• FOLLOWING ALL DOT REGULATIONS AND COMPANY SAFE DRIVING GUIDELINES AND POLICIES.">

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• 12 months commercial driving experience.">
• A valid CDL A license.">
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).">
• Be at least 21 years old.">
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.">
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.">
• Pass a road test.">
• Hold a valid current DOT Health Card and/or be able to secure a new one.">
• Be able to lift and move product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.">
