Warehouse Spotter

At Ace Hardware Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Spotter to join our team. As a Spotter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers and freight within our distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a thorough safety and mechanical check of the Yard truck and trailers to be moved.
- Back the trailer into the designated spot, disconnect the trailer, and install chocks.
- Drive a forklift to make up cross-dock loads.
- Perform housekeeping duties, keeping floors clean and work areas neat and clean.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours, overtime when needed.
- CDL A Certification.
- Hazmat and Doubles endorsements.
- Minimum 1 year driving tractor/trailer combinations.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations on equipment standards and inspections.
