The estimated salary for this internship ranges from $20/hour to $40/hour, based on experience and location.

Job Description

This 12-week paid learning experience offers hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact. You'll work with senior talent to learn technical skills on detection and response, contributing your creativity and outstanding ideas while working alongside T-Mobile employees.

You'll assist the L1 cybersecurity analyst in initial triage and monitoring, gaining a comprehensive view of SOC analysts' operations. Your responsibilities will include responding to cybersecurity alerts, creating tuning requests to reduce alert volume and false positives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong background in blue team cybersecurity operations, including knowledge of SIEMs and responding to alerts. Required qualifications include:

  • Security+, BLT1, CySA+
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have graduated within the last 12-months or be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program
