About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team at First Student. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of students and passengers.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet.
• Route Management: Plan and execute daily routes to ensure efficient and safe transportation of students and passengers.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school administrators, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other drivers, dispatchers, and operations staff to ensure seamless transportation services.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Good Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school administrators.
• Physical Demands: Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting.
