Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide clinical speech language pathology services for patients in various settings. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians, patients, families, and other team members to provide high-quality care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Comply with ATC policies and procedures
  • Comply with client facility policies and procedures
  • Document services provided accurately and completely
  • Initiate emergency measures according to client protocols
  • Maintain confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices
  • Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner
  • Communicate information effectively to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain competency through continuing education programs
  • Educate patients and others on therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and evaluation of speech and language therapy patients
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure as required by the state of practice
  • At least one year of speech language pathology experience with the geriatric population
  • Current CPR certification and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies
Work Environment

The Speech-Language Pathologist will work in a geriatric rehabilitation setting, with possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
