Deliver Exceptional Patient Care as a Registered Nurse RN CVICU PRN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our CVICU team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a Registered Nurse RN CVICU PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals
  • Takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs
  • Evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
  • Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual CVICU patients
  • Promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
  • 1 year of RN ICU experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Knowledge of ECMO, balloon pumps & continual dialysis preferred
