Responsibilities:- Administer treatment and rehabilitation services to patients with injuries or disabilities, conducting exercises and providing personalized attention and support.
- Work under the supervision of the staff Physical Therapist, adhering to physical medicine practice standards and observing and assessing treatment effects.
- Monitor and document resident treatment and responses, assisting in developing a teaching plan based on learning needs and evaluating its effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the family in teaching when appropriate, informing staff and the Physical Therapist of outcomes.
- CPR Certification (Mandatory)
- Licensed Physical Therapy (Required)
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in long-term care.
- Good physical and mental health.
- Capability to perform all physical duties of the position, including lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Possess training, knowledge, and experience for general supervision responsibilities.
The Physical Therapist reports to the Rehabilitation Director.
