Position Overview

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will take charge of delivering business-specific outcomes for a dedicated division or across several divisions. Your role will encompass accountability for reporting on profitability and managing the associated balance sheets of your divisions.


Your expertise will be invaluable as you provide support and guidance to colleagues on complex issues, establishing yourself as a specialist within your business division.


You will ensure that high-quality service is delivered to key business partners and the group through effective collaboration with your team and business stakeholders.


Your responsibilities will include supporting the annual statutory audit process and ensuring compliance with all MDM/GPO processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyze monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, focusing on reconciliations, accruals, allocations, revenue downloads, pre-payments, variance analysis, and commentary.
  • Conduct Financial Analysis.
  • Execute Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage Financial Reporting and Analysis, including budgeting/forecasting, working capital, Group Finance reporting, supplementary packs, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Publish financial results in SAP FC.
  • Facilitate communication between the SSC, Group Finance, and Business Teams.
  • Participate in acquisition integration and due diligence processes.
  • Engage in projects within the SSC and department, including key process testing and systems.
  • Assist in the accounting integration of new products into the SSC accounting framework and systems.
  • Analyze and resolve ad-hoc issues using your knowledge of business and systems.
  • Conduct WIP analysis, product costing, and provisions (e.g., stock).
  • Process intercompany transactions.
  • Review bad debt, accruals, and prepayment calculations.
  • Handle treasury postings and reconciliations.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and analysis of direct cost base and divisional recharges (specific to Global Support team).
  • Undertake Tax & Compliance duties as required by your SSC.
