Overview:
This role involves overseeing unarmed security measures, providing both fixed and mobile patrol services for a designated client site. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead security officer during assigned shifts.
- Serve as the primary representative for the shift to the site supervisor.
- Conduct thorough patrols of assigned areas, either on foot or via vehicle.
- Understand and execute the responsibilities associated with all posts.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports on accidents, unusual occurrences, and suspicious activities.
- Complete required training courses within specified timeframes.
- Maintain daily activity logs using various reporting tools.
- Monitor for any irregularities that may pose security risks or safety hazards.
- Respond to emergencies by alerting authorities as necessary.
- Ensure authorized access to the facility while monitoring entry and exit points.
- Provide assistance to clients, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.
Expectations:
Candidates should be prepared to:
- Work overtime and adapt to various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Maintain accurate records and effectively communicate with team members.
- Comprehend and apply numerous policies and procedures in diverse situations.
- Walk up and down stairs and stand for extended periods.
- Operate basic computer systems and software.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass state-required training and qualifications for licensing.
- Complete site-specific training prior to assuming duties.
- Valid driver's license is necessary for operating company vehicles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation is essential for prompt response.
- Availability to work any shift, 24/7.
- Participate in scheduled training sessions and adhere to safety policies.
- Must possess a mobile phone and regularly use email for communication.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Must pass a drug test and undergo a comprehensive background check.
