Breakfast Host

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Host to join our team at Hampton Inn / Homewood Suites Houston Downtown.

Job Summary:

The Breakfast Host is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests by preparing and presenting a high-quality breakfast experience.

• Prepare the breakfast buffet area, including setting up food and beverage stations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Greet and engage with guests, taking pride in providing warm hospitality and ensuring their needs are met.
• Monitor the buffet line, replenishing food and beverages as needed to maintain a fresh and abundant selection.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the breakfast service period.
• Dispose of waste and leftovers properly, and clean the buffet area according to established standards.
• Perform side work as required, including restocking inventory and preparing for the next day's service.

• Certification: Current Food Handler's certificate or ServSafe certification is required.
• Physical Demands: The Breakfast Host must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, push, bend, and reach; stoop, kneel, or crouch. They may need to lift and move equipment, supplies, and dishes up to 50 pounds.

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
