Purpose of Job:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, facilities, and grounds. Your primary goal will be to perform routine maintenance duties as scheduled or assigned by the Chief Operating Officer (C.O.O.) and address the needs of various departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Install or replace equipment as needed to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct general building maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Plan daily repairs in collaboration with Managers and Department Supervisors to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Approve requisitions for ordering and maintaining supplies for the Maintenance Department to ensure timely delivery and minimize waste.
  • Provide maintenance support to Department Supervisors to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns.
  • Plan and schedule future repairs to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate and schedule equipment preventative maintenance and downtime for necessary improvements and repairs.
  • Adhere to and maintain all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Follow and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure a clean and organized working environment to promote productivity and efficiency.
  • Continuously update skills to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Authority:

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will have the authority to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities related to products, processes, and the quality system. You will identify and document any problems related to products, processes, and the quality system, and recommend or provide solutions through designated channels. You will also control further processing or delivery of non-conforming products until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected.

Job Qualifications:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in general maintenance.
  • Experience in Electrical, HVAC, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with various types of manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong background in preventative maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Preferably, experience in forklift operation.
Hours:

M-F 1st shift plus full benefits

Pay Details:

$28.00 to $36.00 per hour
