About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at SBM Management Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform floor care: Vacuuming, mopping, and carpet spotting to ensure a clean and safe environment for our tenants and staff.
  • Perform surface care: Dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, and cleaning blinds and draperies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Waste management: Emptying trash and recycle bins, and transporting trash and waste to proper disposal areas to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Lighting and maintenance: Replacing light bulbs and restocking supply cabinets/rooms to ensure a well-maintained and functional environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
