Shaw Electric Company Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician Apprentice to join their team. As an Electrician Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to perform electrical work involved in construction, maintenance, and/or repair of commercial, industrial, or residential electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program, including classroom training and on-the-job experience.
• Perform electrical work under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
• Develop knowledge and skills in electrical theory, electrical fasteners, anchors, raceways, boxes, and fittings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, spec books, and shop drawings.
• Develop knowledge of basic industry wire color codes.
• Assist licensed electricians in completing electrical projects.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Six months experience in a construction environment preferred.
• Possession of required tools and working knowledge of industry-wide and Shaw Electric required tool list.
