Join Our Team as a Food Service Associate

Chartwells K12 is actively seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Food Service Associate. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities.

Key Details:

  • Location: Northwestern Consolidated Schools of Shelby County
  • Schedule: Flexible shifts available from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with varying days.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, but we are willing to provide training.

  • Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $12.50 per hour, with opportunities for internal employee referral bonuses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
  • Assist the Chef in food preparation, including various dishes and catering orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness in coffee and cashier stations.
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including waste disposal.
  • Provide excellent service in all retail areas, including cashiering and serving.
  • Ensure cash accuracy and make deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Restock supplies and food products as needed.
  • Set up serving lines, monitoring food temperatures to ensure safety.
  • Serve both hot and cold items to customers.
  • Organize items for sale daily and manage inventory effectively.
  • Record refrigerator temperatures and maintain stock levels accurately.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
