Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual machine shop equipment, including grinders, lathes, and mills, to manufacture replacement parts for production equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Repair and rebuild complex machinery, including clutches, stamping presses, and conveyors.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to layout material and fabricate equipment guards, rails, and chutes.
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet production deadlines and maintain a high level of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • State Journeyman's papers in Tool & Die Making or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manual machining and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of machine shop equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
