At Van Eerden Foodservice Company, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative K12 to join our team. As a critical member of our K12 Foodservice team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact school (K-12)/multi-unit accounts for orders via phone and email, communicating new items, substitutions, out of stocks, etc.
- Input account orders directly and enter credit requests.
- Understand the credit process for Schools/multi-unit accounts and credit memo policy.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge with an emphasis on school products.
- Research and resolve shipping, invoicing, credit, and/or service problems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, Sales Representatives, and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Prior K12 Foodservice and/or customer service experience preferred.
- The ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, able to learn and use various forms of technology and software.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- A minimum of two years' previous customer service experience.
