Customer Service Representative K12 Job Description

At Van Eerden Foodservice Company, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative K12 to join our team. As a critical member of our K12 Foodservice team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact school (K-12)/multi-unit accounts for orders via phone and email, communicating new items, substitutions, out of stocks, etc.
  • Input account orders directly and enter credit requests.
  • Understand the credit process for Schools/multi-unit accounts and credit memo policy.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge with an emphasis on school products.
  • Research and resolve shipping, invoicing, credit, and/or service problems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Sales Representatives, and internal departments.

Requirements:

  • Prior K12 Foodservice and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • The ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, able to learn and use various forms of technology and software.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • A minimum of two years' previous customer service experience.
