Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP+. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment service and general housekeeping duties.
  • Walk the garage daily to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Sweep and clean around entrances, exits, and stairwells, as well as clean surface area rails and other areas.
  • Empty trashcans and submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
  • Check safety items, such as gate arms, to ensure proper function.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Shovel, plow, or blow snow from designated areas.
  • Report any safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Practice excellent customer service skills and interact with customers in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous facility maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more regularly.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
