As a Medical Physicist at Sentara, you will play a critical role in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring patients, maintaining established policies and procedures, and performing clinical research as required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Monitor patients and maintain established policies and procedures
- Perform clinical research as required
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics (Required)
- American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics certification preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Diagnostic Medical Physics Certification
- Medical Health Physics (MHP) Certification
- Experience in Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery
- High Dose Rate Brachytherapy and Radiopharmaceutical procedures
