Wartech Engineering is a leading defense contracting company seeking a skilled Procurement Executive to join our team. As a Procurement Executive, you will play a critical role in identifying, sourcing, and ordering components for our projects, ensuring strict traceability guidelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead purchasing and order management activities to drive operational effectiveness
  • Ensure supplier and purchase order accuracy of master data in ERP and supplier portal and update/change data/information as required; resolve supply disruption issues
  • Conduct standard material cost reviews, cost variance/change analytics and execute action plans for cost management; update material cost standards and variances in ERP
  • Create accurate POs based on received quotes
  • Seek out and procure vendors
  • Interact with suppliers
  • Liaison with other company departments including accounting, manufacturing, and operations
  • Track status of orders
  • Maintain purchasing policy and ensure all purchases adhere to that policy

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen or "US Person" in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • 5+ years of work experience in defense procurement
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Proven experience interacting with customers directly in a presentation or technical reporting capacity.
