Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Teller to join our team at APL Federal Credit Union. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash checks and disburse funds while verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds.
  • Process teller transactions, including verifying currency, accepting safe deposit box payments, and balancing cash drawers.
  • Adhere to bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of member and bank assets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the online teller terminal, accurately recording amounts received and preparing reports of transactions.
  • Daily open and close the teller terminal, account for cashed, assigned, received, and disbursed funds, and accurately balance to the teller terminal close report.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Six to twelve months of related experience in customer service or retail environment preferred.
Working Conditions

This role is performed in a pleasant office environment with minimal chance for personal injury and moderate noise level. There may be occasions when the work environment is stressful. Work hours will normally be from Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed.
